Other School-Specific Financial Information
GLOBE Charter School operates on a fiscal year that begins July 1st and ends June 30th of the following calendar year. Each fiscal year is designated as the calendar year in which the fiscal year ends. For example "FY11" represents the fiscal year from July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011. Correspondingly, our reporting quarters start with the fiscal year, so, for example, the first fiscal quarter (Q1) represents July 1 through September 30 and the fourth fiscal quarter (Q4) is April 1 through June 30.
As always, please consider the context when evaluating financial transactions. Some transactions may seem unusual on the surface but are perfectly normal and justifiable when placed in the proper context.
