Hello and welcome! The GLOBE Charter School Board of Directors is a group of parents and community members who seek to support GLOBE Charter School's Vision and Mission.
The Board of Directors works closely with the Administration to support the Vision and Mission of creating life long learners who are educated academically, emotionally, and socially to become involved and productive citizens.
The Board of Directors meets the fourth Monday of the month, unless otherwise posted. The community meeting starts at 5:15 and the Board officially calls meeting to order at 5:30pm.

Doug Hering
Doug is a community member that joined the Board of Directors in September 2021. Doug has been associated with GLOBE Charter School since 2012 as GLOBE Charter School CMA, later becoming Deputy Chief Financial Officer and has now joined GLOBE Charter Schools Board of Directors to help guide the Vision and Mission to help provide every student a positive future so that GLOBE Charter School students can make a positive difference in the world.

Johnathon Joubert
Jonathan Joubert is a writer and producer heavily involved in the entertainment industry. He attended University of Louisiana at Lafayette where he studied psychology, philosophy, sociology, and religious studies. He grew up in the Boys and Girls Club, which he credits for helping shape his life. Once leaving the Boys and Girls Club, Jonathan volunteered creating multimedia summer courses teaching children to film and edit videos, produce and record music, and develop the necessary skills to begin and sustain a successful career in the entertainment industry. He home schooled his children for several years, along with his niece and nephews until deciding to make Colorado his new home. Jonathan hopes to inspire children to embrace their unique qualities, develop a lifelong love of learning, pursue their passions relentlessly, and face challenges head on in order to have a fulfilling life and be a productive member of their community.

Robert Ludman
Robert Ludman was elected to the Board of Directors in March 2021 as a Parent Member, he and his two sons are proud to call GLOBE Charter School a fabulous and wonderful school for children's education. "I intend to use my unique perspective as a single father, as well as my diverse business acumen, to improve the abilities of our school to ensure that EVERY student may become a life-long learner."

Kristina Sighn
Kristina Singh is a mother of four boys and has Bachelors in Business Management/Marketing and Sales and is currently attending school for Cosmetology. She has helped run a couple businesses while raising her children and is now part of the board for GLOBE Charter School to help with their marketing needs as well as developing a plan for growth over the next five years. Her interest in being on the board stems from her love of the school and its success for the years to come. Her strong background in marketing will be an asset to the team.

Chad Wehner
Chad Wehner is a Parent Alumni member of GLOBE Charter School and is local business owner that has served GLOBE Charter Schools Board of Directors for 4 years. Elected to President of the Board of Directors, for which he served from 2018 to 2021.
Chad Wehner is a native of Colorado Springs Colorado ,born in 1971. Attended Grant Elementary, Holmes Junior High, Coronado High School. Chad became self-employed in 1990 after he purchased his first company. At the age of 18. Chad is currently still self-employed.
He was married in 1996, has six kids. Four kids have attended GLOBE Charter School

GLOBE Board of Directors Membership Information
The GLOBE Charter School Board of Directors welcomes all community members that are interested in becoming active members of the Board. Prior experience is not necessary. We are interested in candidates with all skill sets and backgrounds who want to help and be involved with our school. The Board of Directors elections are held during the c village assembly in February. Candidates may join at other times of the year if there is a vacant position on the Board.
For any person that is actively interested in becoming a Board Member you will need to fill out a Board Application and get a Background Check through District 11.
