Classroom Rules



We use the "Whole Brain Teaching" Approach where there are 5 rules:

Rule One: Follow directions quickly!

Rule Two: Raise your hand for permission to speak

Rule Three: Raise your hand for permission to leave your seat.

Rule Four: Make smart choices!

Rule Five: Keep your dear teacher happy!

This is my personal favorite ;-)

We also follow the PBIS (positive behavior interventions and supports) SHELL program throughout the school. We always use our SHELL so that we can all stay happy! This means we are being Safe, Honorable, Effective, Logical, Life-long Learners.

If your child brings home a Turtle for you to sign, it means that someone caught them using their SHELL!!!
